If you live in South Pasadena or Pasadena, chances are you know about this little hill in the Arroyo. Most people driving on Arroyo Drive would usually miss this viewpoint, but after you go once, it's impossible to miss.
Candy Mountain or Cyclops Mountain is in the middle of the Arroyo, and can be a little confusing to get to. What you're going to want to do is, find a safe entrance into the valley from Arroyo Drive, then you'll see a steep hill. Climbing this hill is physically tiring... it's seriously a workout. However, once you reach the top, it is definitely worth it. Candy Mountain looks over the whole arroyo and you'll get a beautiful view of "Suicide Bridge." This spot is extremely secluded, so if you ever want a place to relax and/or collect your thoughts this is the perfect spot for you!
Although this is a wonderful view, getting down in a challenge; What I recommend is to use the three limbs technique (using 3/4 of your limbs) and scale down the mountain. Honestly though, be careful, it's pretty slippery and steep.
